Ten Point is a proprietary blend consisting of four different grapes in which three of those are Bordeaux varieties. A Bordeaux grape is any grape produced in the Bordeaux region of southwest France. The grapes of White Bordeaux include Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle.
Ten Point is a big (in your face) Dry Red with lots of great tannin structure. Tannin is a naturally occurring polyphenol found in the fruit skins. These tannins are what make wines “dry” in taste. We purposely build this structure with tannin additions as well as natural tannin extraction from both the skins and seeds to make the wine feel dryer on your palette and give the wine longevity. As this wine ages in the bottle, those tannins are going to smooth out and become silky soft. This wine could easily stand to be laid down in a cellar for up to 20 years as it gets better and better over time.
We put a lot of time and passion into these BIG reds. From grape to barrel to bottle, it is a two-year process. Enjoy this dry red with a nice steak or some rich red-sauced pasta.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Cheers 🙂
Stop by the café on Saturday evening to try this delicious, dry red, and pair it with our dinner special: NY Strip Steak and Scallops with a choice of side salad. Stay later to enjoy Live Music with Scott Carl beginning at 7.
